Ofgem is Great Britain’s independent energy regulator. They work to protect energy consumers, especially vulnerable people, by ensuring they are treated fairly and benefit from a cleaner, greener environment.
The problem
People can switch Energy supplier to save money but most people don't know about it.
OFGEM wanted to inform energy consumers and let them know what they could do to change supplier.
The solution
A video ad as well as cut-downs to bring the point across different platforms.
The challenge
OFGEM wasn't doing a lot of marketing at the time. We had to find the right tone to communicate the key message while staying coherent with the organisation.
Approach
They wanted a video that was aligned with their organisation and yet still creative.
I was commissioned to make a series of two commercials. This video is called "Looking for the one", it plays with humour and an element of surprise.
Outcome: Online visibility and more awareness
Two video ads were produced in total. The original length is 30 seconds which allowed for cut-downs of 6 and 15 seconds.
